I would rather compare him to Batman then. Then there seems to be this dark aspect of Horus, I haven´t looked at it like that. Isn´t Jesus representing the same archetype as Horus ?! Technically, The Aeon dawned with Crowley back in the early 1900's. However, there is no clear succession of these ages. They are generally marked by significant changes in the world. The previous era was the Aeon of Osiris (Jesus/Dying God). I'm not sure if you're familiar with the Denver Airport Mural? The image with the little girl who is in the casket holding a cross? It's symbolic of that age ending. So, although it started in the early 1900's it hasn't come to fruition until now.
Quoting: NEMO666 Quoting: Artaius San Actually he's quite the opposite. Osiris would be equivalent to Jesus because they were both slain. Horus is the avenger of his father Osiris. So, really he's a character that could be more likened to I dunno...Bane? Note the hawk-headed God and Bane's likeness to a bird. Particularly the first scene when he spreads his arms like a bird and his hawk like mask (similar to horus in almost every way). Also note, his comment about "The Fire rises". Horus is the lord of Force and Fire. The rising fire refers to the fire moving from Geburah to Binah on the tarot trump the Chariot.
