I was just wondering when this was going to happen last week after watching Leno. His humor is just not relevant anymore, his writers suck, and it's just time for Fallon to get the slot he deserves.

Leno CANNOT do a monologue to save his life. Which is one of the obvious reasons he's getting replaced by Fallon; because he's too old to do shit properly now.

Ok, you got a little too butt hurt with the word "old" apparently.

First off, I think Leno is a great guy; I think he is nice and humble. But we are talking about entertainment here... Being apart of the newer generation, I think Leno is just not as funny as he used to be. It's more than likely the writers faults than his, but ever since Kevin left; the show has gone down the tube.

Fallon is now relevant, with much better writers, that suite the entertainment needs of current America. It's time for Leno to step down, but he did do a great job and is a really nice guy.

Jay will have to bring his weiner drugs with him if he wants to help repopulate.

Johnny Carson is the last king of latenight for a reason. The funniest thing in the world is making fun of canukistanis. He and Ed did it on a weekly, if not daily basis. Also if they were too drunk and/or puking coming out of commercial it was nothing to just let the band play for 10 minutes. And they played real music. not adaptions, of jingles that was once pop music from the '80s.

This new crew including letterman need to go online only and give the bandwidth to weather channels stuck on the -1, -2 bands.

While they're at it, get rid of that piece of shit NBC show Saturday Night Live. Why that trash is still on is a total mystery. Talk about lame and unfunny.

BS. It's money talking. NBC is in the shithouse, and they'll try anything to pull themselves out of it. Leno is losing ground to Kimmel with regard to the 18-49 y/o demographic. It's about money and ratings.

I agree 100% they have their fingers buried so deep in this world......its a damn shame.

The real winner in all of this, oddly, is David Letterman.

I never found him particularly funny. All of his stuff is scripted to a T and it shows.

However, while NBC had the whole Leno retiring-Conan replacing him-Leno not retiring-Leno new show in same time slot-Conan Tonight show taking a back seat-Conan leaving-Leno back on Tonight Show-Jimmy Fallon afterward thing,

CBS simply remained consistent with Letterman.
