re; we have gun control here in canada and life isnt that bad, in facts, is way better than in the U.S.

oh, yes, canada is known worldwide as the "melting pot" where different people from many different cultures all live together. NOT !!!
canada has different zones, each with it's own gov't.
get rid of those zones, and let all canadians fight it out with each other, for control of one federal gov't., and with ONE LANGUAGE for ALL canadaians, and see if that decreases violence.
(yes, you can't all even agree on one language for your country, ha ha !!)
