Will the next Pope be Peter the Roman?

Why wouldn't he be? Everyone else has added up. The part of this prophecy that gets me is the end that says the dreadful judge will judge his people. So prepare to meet thy God.

Saint Peter, according to ancient tradition, became the first bishop of Rome. Roman Catholics consider him to have been the first Pope and all subsequent popes to have been his successors, and therefore sometimes refer to the Pope or the Papacy itself as Peter.

I believe the conclave may avoid choosing someone named "Peter" as to disprove this prophecy, myself. Time will tell, it sure is interesting times we live in.

I believe its possible that tptb will name him Peter and then disprove the theory by saying its rubbish. The masses are gullible.

Did you know that the new pope gets to choose what "pope name" he will use? Like there was this guy, his name was Joseph Ratzinger. He was elected pope, and he chose the name Benedict. He wasn't called Benedict before that was he?

So it's really irrelevant who might be called Peter now. Anybody who is elected could choose the name Peter if they want. Anybody named Peter who is elected could choose some other name, like RAMBO, if they want.
