My dogs started barking again. I worry especially when the dog way in the back is barking. I live way out in the country so I don't have close neighbors that would bother them.

Some should take care of it ! All joking aside OP, I live on some acreage in the boonies in Texas and see strange shit all of the time. Lights in the sky, lights in the woods down by the creek, strange sounds ect.
Whatever it is, I leave it alone and it doesn't bother me.

Yes Oklahoma is right. I am sure it wasn't a person though. They don't have reflective eyes do they? It also kind of lunged when it ran too. Another thing is my dogs have a bark they do when they are freaked out versus a person being outside. The dog in the back kinda whimpers because he thinks he will be fed, if it is a person. He didn't do that. It was a different bark, like anxious or worried. Also,My husband put a baby monitor outside on the porch just in case. I might invest in some cameras for the outside, this month. This isn't the first time my dogs have freaked out. But it is the first time, I actually saw something in the yard. My husband went outside about ten minutes ago, didn't see anything.

Could be a demon-possessed deer, on meth.

$100 and you have yourself a camera that will see 150 feet out into complete darkness. I live in northern Ont. and a month ago it went down to -35* F. and the camera kept on working like it was 70* out. Highly recommend it. There will be a learning curve but it's worth the hassle.

My native dogs freak-out, hysterical is a better word, each time they confront a Cobra.
It happens once a month... minimum.
I live almost in the jungle.
It wakes me up because it always happens during the night.
Roaming wild animals always have that effect on them.
So, yes, you are correct OP, if dogs go hysterical, there is a VERY GOOD REASON for it.
