All joking aside OP, I live on some acreage in the boonies in Texas and see strange shit all of the time. Lights in the sky, lights in the woods down by the creek, strange sounds ect. Whatever it is, I leave it alone and it doesn't bother me. |

Forget about "demons", get your firearm at your side, check the locks on your doors, and go ahead and just call the sheriffs department to report a possible intruder on your property. Much more likely to either be a deer or a meth head than a "demon". Disregard if I am mistaken about your location. I Support Our First Responders |
EscapeVelocity User ID: 35464997 United States 03/04/2013 04:03 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My dogs started barking again. I worry especially when the dog way in the back is barking. I live way out in the country so I don't have close neighbors that would bother them. Quoting: skyblau Ah yeah now would be a good time to drop a mag into your rifle. "I know that the molecules in my body are traceable to phenomena in the cosmos. Anonymous Coward User ID: 35515212 United States 03/04/2013 04:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I heard my dogs barking a bit ago, they sounded off "worried" or anxious barks. I decided to shine a flashlight out my kitchen window, and then I saw a pair of eyes. I wasn't sure if they were my dogs right off. But then it moved forward like springing and running like an animal does on two feet. I shined my light downward to check to make sure it wasn't my dog, and the ground was several feet up from the pair of eyes. It was running toward my house, not from it! I ran in my bedroom and woke my husband. I have never been so scared in all my life. If it is a demon how in the hell, do I keep it outside? I salted my doorways though. My dogs are quiet right now, but I am too scared to go to sleep. Quoting: skyblau You just got finished watching "Finding Bigfoot"... Didn't you. |

They don't have reflective eyes do they? It also kind of lunged when it ran too. Another thing is my dogs have a bark they do when they are freaked out versus a person being outside. The dog in the back kinda whimpers because he thinks he will be fed, if it is a person. He didn't do that. It was a different bark, like anxious or worried. Also,My husband put a baby monitor outside on the porch just in case. I might invest in some cameras for the outside, this month. This isn't the first time my dogs have freaked out. But it is the first time, I actually saw something in the yard. My husband went outside about ten minutes ago, didn't see anything. |

This is the wireless camera I have: $100 and you have yourself a camera that will see 150 feet out into complete darkness. I live in northern Ont. and a month ago it went down to -35* F. and the camera kept on working like it was 70* out. Highly recommend it. There will be a learning curve but it's worth the hassle. |

It happens once a month... minimum. I live almost in the jungle. It wakes me up because it always happens during the night. Roaming wild animals always have that effect on them. So, yes, you are correct OP, if dogs go hysterical, there is a VERY GOOD REASON for it. Pay attention next time! PhilippinoBob |
