Like I said, I'd love to bash the cop.... all this guy would have had to do to make this a completely different story would be to handle the cop with the same respect you'd expect in any conversation. Not saying he should back down or let the cop have his way, but he could have done it all without yelling, and probably would have still been able to get more on tape. The thread last week about the law student confronting a cop who stopped the student for carrying a gun was excellent - the student through SC cases at the cop, and eventually the cop just walked away.

All a person has to do is some prep, like search Westlaw, for cases and rules for being stopped by a cop. The kid should have used language like 'probable cause", a "Terry search and seizure", etc... . That and others would have had those cops turning around and walking away.

This time was different though, they were trying to intentionally harrass him, so he was making a scene so everyone around could see it.....
