CAHOKIA, IL (KTVI) – A plane heading into Parks Airport in Cahokia, Illinois is preparing for a crash landing.

The airport confirms it is a Learjet with landing gear problems. Eight people are on board and officials at the airport say they are preparing for a crash-landing scenario.

Four ambulances have been requested along with Arch Helicopter and other emergency equipment.

Just before noon, the plane reported a problem with its landing gear.
