Huge, OP.

Owls are believed to be very powerful creatures regardless of what culture you look into. They are a spiritual bird to native America, and a symbol of knowledge.

They are all watching. Alien abductees a lot of the time report the image of an owl as a representation of their suppressed memories, or even see the owl literally in their window.

I see the wing up showing an attempt to rise, the wing down being pulled by a force showing spiritual grounding, and the irony in the no parking sign.

We are seeing a literal representation right here in your pics of the divine showing us what is coming...

These times are getting so... Interesting.
For every negativity, create two positives!

~For wolf and moon

Part of a pack one wolf chose to leave
A life like his dreams this wolf chose to weave

On his own in the dark the wolf could not see
Nobody was telling him what to believe

When he questioned what truly made him free
It was always the moonlight guiding thee

~eyeDR3

The sheep may one day find, there was always a wolf inside.

That's the way I felt when I saw it.

Feel free to share the photos!

You're sure that's an owl? I've been looking at photos trying to ID it and I haven't seen one like it yet.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 35490991

It's a Hawaiian owl.

I definitely got close enough to see - I pulled a feather out. Had to lightly hold his body down while I plucked - was still limp, not stiff yet. His eyes were wide open - pretty trippy.

Ok, Short Eared Owl maybe. I hate to take a big shit on your quest here, but there is the question of who the sign was meant for, if it is a sign. It seems to be in a pretty public place. Maybe it was never meant for you, but someone else instead.

Dead animals don't bode well anyway so be happy if it isn't for you. True story, when I was kid my 14 year old brother found a cow skull. He decided it would a neat prank to place it on the neighbor's front porch. What we didn't know at the time was that our neighbors were the one of biggest Italian mafia families in the province. My parents never told us, they thought it was best if we never knew. My brother "hung himself" two days later. That's what you get for pulling a stunt like that with the mob.

The whole cow skull thing never even meant anything to me at the time it happened. It wasn't until years later that I put it all together. I still haven't told my parents about the cow skull.

Public but not truly visable. I only saw it because I walked by it - actually had to turn around and go back because I only caught it in the corner of my eye.

One of the meanings of having an Owl cross your path is to be alert for black magic working against you...

I don't know if it applies to dead owls as well, but it may be a good idea to do some energy work around yourself for shielding and protection...

Damn, this makes "The Fourth Kind" a little more scarier.
“The living being had no need of eyes because there was nothing outside of him to be seen; nor of ears because there was nothing to be heard; and there was no surrounding atmosphere to be breathed; nor would there have been any use of organs by the help of which he might receive his food or get rid of what he had already digested, since there was nothing which went from him or came into him: for there was nothing beside him. Of design he created thus; his own waste providing his own food, and all that he did or suffered taking place in and by himself. For the Creator conceived that a being which was self-sufficient would be far more excellent than one which lacked anything; and, as he had no need to take anything or defend himself against any one, the Creator did not think it necessary to bestow upon him hands: nor had he any need of feet, nor of the whole apparatus of walking; but the movement suited to his spherical form which was designed by him, being of all the seven that which is most appropriate to mind and intelligence; and he was made to move in the same manner and on the same spot, within his own limits revolving in a circle. All the other six motions were taken away from him, and he was made not to partake of their deviations. And as this circular movement required no feet, the universe was created without legs and without feet.” -Plato

"If you want to find the secrets of the universe, think in terms of energy, frequency and vibration.” - Nikola Tesla

“What we have called matter is energy, whose vibration has been so lowered as to be perceptible to the senses. There is no matter.” - Albert Einstein

I would say, be mindful of who you keep company with. I have been the target once of a 'cult', and for a period of ~ 2 weeks there were dead birds and kittens left outside my home. This goes along with another posters comment about dark magic. Just be careful.

Appears to have definitely been placed there, which is very odd. Who would take the time?

I saw a spotted owl nailed to a tree in Idaho. This is when loggers were being laid off because the state government (and others), did not allow further logging of state forests as to protect the spotted owl.

Wouldn't want to be a government enforcer ever especially among the locals back then and even now.

In Alaska, they would be what is called 'gone missing'. Nobody 'knows' what happened to them.

that's why you shouldn't put out poisons as baits and things, owls or hawks will eat the mice or rats and die.
