Amen, brother! You try to lift the miserable condition of the poor, and you get viciously attacked by every asshole who has managed to grimp his way up a couple of miserable steps of the pyramid. They are only slaves who are marginally better off and they cry and complain that raising the minimum wage will make them poorer. They will have to pay more for a hot dog. What a tragedy! The only thing that makes them content is that someone is more miserable than they are. The only thing that makes them content is that there are slaves to serve them their hot dogs. Their mindset is what makes the whole miserable structure of society work. The ultra rich are content to let their slaves keep the other slaves down. The great delusion is that most of these idiots think they are worth ten times as much as the masses who earn less. They aren't and they would find it out the day they stood on their own two feet and blew the whistle on their "masters". Lawyers who fight for justice and doctors who fight for health, or politicians who tell the truth soon find out that their whole worth was in their corruption - their willingness to play along with the lies. They have sold their souls for cheap hot dogs. They are a disgrace and a waste of flesh. |

There is no inherent virtue in poverty and more than there is in wealth. Also, there is a difference between being poor and remaining poor. Anyone in the US who remains poor has no one to blame but themselves. |
