You're absolutely right. And do you know why? Because they weren't RAISED with logic. They were raised by their mothers. Their father was out of the picture! Either because he donated his sperm and abandoned their mother, or she saw him as nothing more than a walking wallet. Sad but true! It all boils down to the generation gap and single parent households/broken families. Your recipe is only as good as the ingredients you put into it ;0)

You're left with ordering online or driving a long way to get something you need. It's either that or your local Walmart. Not too many mom and pops around anymore and the slave wages they pay you make it difficult to afford mom and pop merchandise.

Simple. A true parent would roll up the welcome mat. One reason might be that women are waiting longer to have children so that they can have their careers first. This in turn means they are much older by the time their child turns 18 and they feel like they need to rely on their child now to help take care of them? Also the economy is VERY scary and uncertain now. Many family's are finding it cost efficient to stick together under one roof and combine resources. Notice many of the failed to launchers on this thread have jobs. But CHOOSE to stay home with their parents. And again...lack of mentally and emotionally healthy stable women to choose from.

I watched the changes over the decades.
My generation did not want to become used up shells like their Fathers
they went to the other extreme of being self indulgent slaves to their appetites......
a man has a job to do and most are clueless as to what that is.
It is not finding the least high maintenance, best looking bang for the buck.
But I don't see much out there teaching or supporting men to be men (especially the more gentle natured ones)
or to do meet their responsibilities to their wives, children and communities.

I believe this to be the core of the present problem.

And that is EXACTLY what they hope to happen. Question is...are we going to let them? Or will we start making the necessary sacrifices of going without to take back our homes and our family's. WE still hold the power and they KNOW this!! Why do you think they're trying to weaken us?

Turn off the unhealthy and brainwashing programs. Let the ratings of the networks who play these programs sink. Tune into the few healthy shows that are still on and they WILL get the message.

Start working toward the goal of getting your bills and monthly expenses down to one income. Then do it. Women, take back the raising of your children and get them out of government run institutions. Work things out with their fathers or remarry but be VERY choosy about whom you marry. Get those father figures back into your children's lives and help get the men in this country back in the saddle again!

Work in your communities toward educating other working moms to the importance of this movement and WHY it's so important. Raise your sons and your daughters with a sense of importance for the balanced structure of the home. Let your husbands help to raise and spend quality time with your children so that they will learn what it means to be a good father.

Try to be happy in your God given and ORDAINED roles as mothers IF you decide you want children. One poster defined the most important job on this planet with such negative adjectives as "slave" and "cook." Why not turn this around and see it for what it is. A helper and mate to your hard working husband. A mother and nurturer to your children and your family. A loving maternal force in your home. Because that is what you are and what running a home is all about! If you don't see yourself having this kind of life, than don't have children! It's that simple.

How many women work outside the home because they have to? How many would rather be at home raising their children and providing a loving and stable home for their families if given the chance? Now! Take EVERY ONE of those women who WANT to be home with their children, and you've just opened up all of those jobs for the men!

Do you see how that works?? Ladies! YOU! YES YOU!! Have the power to begin turning this around. It comes down to how badly do you want it? And do you want it more than you do material comforts like spa treatments and keeping up with the latest fashions? It really IS up to YOU!!

Men, LOOK for these qualities in a wife when your ready to settle down and start a family. And in the mean time, DON'T sleep around and get someone you DON'T want to be tied to for the rest of your life pregnant! It is just as simple for you to turn this around.

Just do it people! YOU have the power to turn this beast back around and get it going in the right direction again!!

I truly believe this will be the next stage in the 'men's revolution'. Men need to help and mentor other young men/boys to become whole, healthy adults. Not to hate and distrust women. But to honour themselves first and foremost. When someone trusts themselves, then they are able to trust others.
Women have been supporting each other for the past few decades. Now men need to support other men.

Yep! I said it before and I will say it again. Ladies! We won the right to vote! We won the right to own property! We won the right to work! This will be cake for us to turn around and WE CAN DO THIS!!! It comes down to how badly do WE as a society want it??! And I'm speaking to you men too!
