Twenty years ago I was making more money than I am making now AND gas prices were a little over a dollar, a new car was under $13,000, a house under $120,000 and minimum wage was $4.25. I think that explains why I can't afford to go out and shop and help the economy. I think the secret is working for yourself....having your own business. I am working for myself and do have my own business and again, I am making less than I was twenty years ago and I'm the CEO! I met a guy who worked for Pfizer years ago....made $450,000+ a year. He was determined to start his own pharmaceutical company five years ago, so he quit the big pharma. He has struggled from the beginning with his own company...still is.
