During the drill students in all buildings and grade levels will be asked to assume the alert or protection position which requires them to sit on the floor. We highly recommend students dress in comfortable and appropriate attire for this exercise. I am in NC and this morning when I went to my local news site, they had a "Severe Weather Awareness Week" notice. WTF? I have NEVER seen anything like that before. My internet is running very slow for some reason but it is WRAL in Raleigh if you can find it and post. It was on the homepage this morning. What the hell are they preparing us for?
