I have experience in this. This glass will take more than a .50

I have pictures of RPG strikes on windows of hmmwvs in the stan. They wont penetrate a window(that glass is awesome) but iv seen them rip threw the side of a MRAP.

Take it from haj, dont even need thermite. set the tires on fire. a little gas and they will burn...man they will burn.

also an IED designed to throw motor oil or another heavy weight opaque liquid onto the windshield will render the vehicle effectively "disabled".

In any GW these types of vics are more problem than they are worth.

Those run flat tires are not cheap and it take 3 mechanics at the minimum to work on one of these beast. If you simply shoot the tires they may be able to roll be they will have to be repaired = downtime and money. if every tire on every vic gets shot every patrol they wont patrol.

another effective method is "tangle foot" sometime is placed in the road to snare the vic. It is clear to see from the vic so they have to stop and move the object = exposing self to harm. If they choose to roll over it it snares the drive train and axle binding the vic in place. This is simple low tech stuff that I could find in the trash and OWN the fuck out of these $$$$$$$$$ DHS-HS vics.

I think this should make it clear to all that we are under martial law and have been for a long time. It's just getting more obvious. Those are not civilian police they are a militarized force. Many police departments are militarized also and have been for a long time. Armored swat vehicles, night/thermal vision, fully auto weapons and that list is long. The crime is being created to justify the means.

But that's not as much fun for them. They want to play soldier.
