My old bf loved all the Elder Scrolls and Max Pain. Me, the only one I was ever pretty good at was Bandai Golf. Har! Last week G4TV had a countdown of the 100 best games of all time. That was pretty fun to watch. |

"The Marathon series of games are unique amongst first-person shooters for their heavy emphasis on storytelling through the use of terminals, which are computer interfaces included within the game through which players not only learn and sometimes accomplish mission objectives, but also learn detailed story information. The textual form of this communication allows for much richer information conveyance than the typically short voice acting in other games." It was the game made before halo came out. "I have felt despair many times in my life, but I do not keep a chair for it." ~Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes Today is a gift, that is why it is called "The Present" “When an opponent declares, “I will not come over to your side,” I calmly say, “Your child belongs to us already… What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.” - Adolf Hitler “If you want to tell people the truth, make them laugh, otherwise they'll kill you.” -Oscar Wilde Have a nice day, may God bless you :D |

With few exceptions, every game after it is just imitation of something that's already been done. Goldeneye and Perfect Dark >>> Halo and whatever is out now For the best video game serious though, I have to say Mario. I mean... Mario 1 - classic Mario 2 - fun as fuck Mario 3 - revolutionary for the quality at the time Super Mario World - that game was impossible to win with 100% Mario Kart - who didn't play this all night long? Mario 64 - I still lean to one side when I play just trying to see around corners The Final Fantasy and Metroid series are very close though. |

It gets my vote, not because of graphics or cool factor (both very lacking in this game), but because of it's long domination of MMO and MMORPG games. |

Now, a few generations on, they are mostly recruitment tools for the military and triggers for both laziness and mass psychosis. Learn to read, learn to interpret the horseshit you are fed in "school" for what it really is and learn to defend yourself in the real fucking war: the war against intelligence. Quoting: Mr.GutsMan 15944200 For, me, it's an easy one, The "Mass Effect" Series. Although the Roots of this gaming series are held in "Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic" (K.O.T.A.R.) it wasn't until the power of the XBOX 360 allowed BioWare to fully realize their grand vision. Spanning Three games, and over 200hrs of gameplay. Mass Effect was the first series that put the players in a comprehensive, living, breathing universe and gives freedom to explore and interact anyway YOU see fit. While the Mass Effect draws inspiration from many other Sci-Fi intellectual properties, team at BioWare manages to create an Experience that is unique, engaging and as epic as it is fresh!!! I Suggest you check it out!!! and please, tell me about YOUR Favorite game!! [youtube] [link to www.youtube.com] Consoles have dumbed gaming down. Developers are heading back to the PC. |
