How likely is it that Obama is coming to Israel to announce this "secret deal" that has already been made?

Time will tell...but the leaking of THIS STORY to the press seems to indicate that such a "closet deal" has already been signed onto by both sides and that Obama may be coming to make this announcement with much hoopla and fanfare.

Jerusalem will be like Siamese twins – connected at the most sensitive points and therefore will remain an open city with free movement throughout.

Both parts of Jerusalem will share many aspects of infrastructure and most importantly, both sides will be responsible to work together to provide real security throughout the city. The Old City and holy places will either work on the same demographic principles or will be managed by agreement by others on behalf of both peoples. The Temple Mount/Haram al Sharif compound will see the transformation of current realities into agreements with the Muslim authorities in control on top of the Mount over the mosques there and Jewish authorities in control of the Western Wall.

Haven't watched the video yet (will later when I have time). I did see the proposal last week. It's very disturbing that it is being given any press at all. I can't imagine Netanyahu agreeing to divide Jerusalem. I guess we'll see in a few weeks.

I hope this agreement comes to pass. I hope it then lasts. But, I have a hard time seeing the stubborn and arrogant ones compromise at all. Then there is the whole prophecy stuff. Didn't the UN vote statehood for Palestine a couple months ago? A World at peace is a World in peace. For OP... 5 STARS!!! Peace.

That is what I have believed for a long time, and have posted here, somewhere, long ago: Jerusalem will be an international city belonging to all people, but will be administered by some kind of formal local agreement. It will be the capital of Israel and of Palestine.

President Obama's trip to Israel this month is just about set except for one big thing: A new Israeli government.

Israel's Channel 10 is reporting that Obama's trip may be pushed back if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is unable to form a new coalition government by March 16.

Asked about the report, Obama spokesman Jay Carney said: "We have no scheduling changes to announce. The President is looking forward to, very much, his trip to Israel and the region, and we're on course planning that trip."

Netanyahu is having trouble forming a government in the wake of Israel's Jan. 22 election.

The Israel newspaper Haaretz reports:

"Obama's visit was expected to take place after the new Israeli government was formed, with the assumption that this would happen by mid-March. A likely date for the visit was set at March 21, although according to a senior Israeli official, the visit would may be postponed until after Passover if the coalition-building process is delayed."
