Thinking a piece of paper will prevent war is like saying the red light will stop the car from hitting the pedestrian crossing the street.

Knowing that, talks of peace treaties between two nations that STILL have issue between them that are not resolved will end in war.

That's right. The point is it doesn't matter if it's perceived as a true peace deal. The Bible says there will be a peace treaty that is "confirmed"...anyone in their right mind and who knows scripture KNOWS that when they see this, to run to the hills.

When they say "Peace & Security" sudden destruction follows...

Man will make of this what they will. If man wants to cause destruction then that is what we will have. It is up to us what happens.

1260 day span between October 9, 2009, the Nobel Peace Prize to Obama, to March 22, 2013, Obama’s trip date in Jerusalem, and when he gets there this happens!

If Obama goes to the western wall it will be a huge security threat...so much so they will have to clear the whole temple area and stop all activities at the holy sites.

Or in other words....he will put an end to the sacrifice and offering!

By going to the Holy area as President and the resulting disruption of all religious activities at the temple mount (putting an end to the sacrifices and offerings) Obama will fulfill this scripture.

I would like to also point out that IF Obama visits the Western Wall (the wing of the Temple) and IF he offers up some type of secret prayer ( an abomination ) in the eyes of God) and IF instead of sticking it into a crack in the wall he "sets it up" against the wall in a leaning fashion for all to see...then that will ALSO help fulfill the prophecy!

That is correct but at that time he was not President nor had he been declared the "Man of Peace" 1,260 days prior AND at that time because he was not yet president they did not clear the whole area for security but THIS time they will!

And when they do clear the area for security he will be causing all the daily sacrifice and offerings to cease and therefore fulfilling the prophecy.

And THEN as he sets up his prayer (an abomination) on the Western Wall (the wing of the Temple) all of the prophetic parameters will be met!

At that time start counting...1,260 days and pray you make it!

It's about time!!! Long overdue! The UN dropped the ball years ago when they established the state of Israel and screwed the Palestinan's in the process. Years of fighting, war, and territorial disagreements as well as instability in the Arab world could have been avoided had the United Nations established an equal Arab/Palestinan state in conjunction with the establishment of Israel.

4-6 left. I think people are forgetting the days that Daniel gave us. It has already started and the Bible says "covenant" not "treaty". A covenant is an oath. The oath was already broken. In order for people to fully understand Scripture, they need the Holy Ghost (John 14:26 KJV). 2013, the year of the Order folks. You shall get the doom, that you have been waiting for and in full effect.

Yes. But what I'm saying is (at the risk of repeating myself) is that he has had ample opportunities in the past but has chosen not to validate his claims.

The O will enter Jerusalem (mimicking Jesus triumphant entry) this Palm Sunday. Israel will even give him a medal or something of recognition.
He will "be seated" in the Upper Room where Jesus performed his 1st Holy Eucharist. Since there is no temple, this may be the "seated in the holy place abomination" thing. Of course he will talk to Israel about PEACE and SAFETY then SUDDEN destruction occurs.

The 21st will come, nothing of significance will happen. He'll give us a new date, ad infinitum.

Forgot to mention, the "treaty" will be presented at the UN on 3/21 and accepted in April, dividing Israel and Palestine, 2 new nations.
