Phennommennonn Forum Administrator 03/05/2013 10:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Interesting theory, Phen. Could something be happening at the core of the planet, just like there could be doom coming from above? Are these two issues one in the same, but just affecting the inner earth dwellers in a different way they recognize??? what may not affect us directly, somewhere down the line may affect us indirectly - so whatchu got there is quite possible. political correctness is a doctrine.... fostered by a delusional, illogical minority...... and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media; which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end. |

Chasms from all the oil sucking. Dumbass humans... Looks like the main verdict is just that humans are fucking the planet up to a degree that will make it unlivable to even them eventually... Of course the planet will ultimately be fine... it's been through a lot worse than humans. But life on the planet is seriously being put at risk... I do so wonder what will happen. |

Lots of minerals soaked with water become conductive avenues for entire regions of civilization that uses power. The minerals are pulled down with the charges. Eventually leaving hollow spots. The Earth is supposed to conduct the natural electron flow from the Ionosphere to the ground. Our power plants are pulling charges from up there and pushes it to consumers, ultimately, into the ground. We are speeding up the current. This can have MANY effects. One of is heat increases. The others are geological disturbances. Build a damn and nature will break it. Pump electricity in excess and nature will break that too. So you're saying earth needs to discharge a bit??? |
Anonymous Coward 03/05/2013 10:10 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Thing is though... Are the inner earth dwellers decidedly in danger because of what the surface dwellers have been up to? [link to scienceprep.org] Compare the surface area with all the area underneath. Maybe the surface dwellers have never really mattered that much until now. Atomic bombs and nuclear disasters and such. |

KoFFee_ User ID: 1373078 United States 03/05/2013 10:33 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Must be the "Invaders from Mars". I remember seeing this movie when I was youngster. Anytime anyone mentions tunnels, explosions and sinkholes, I am reminded of this movie. It actually terrified me and gave me nightmares. I had dreams of mole people who lived underground in tunnels. They would kidnap people and bring them below ground to do experiments on them. These strange creatures would put you on a table and stick a long needle into your neck so they could abstract information from you. It was pretty creepy then. I watch this movie now and it is so laughable, but if you start it around the 58 minute mark, you will see the tunnels, the explosions, the odd looking alien head in the glass bubble. In the first ten minutes of the movie, you will see the what looks like a "sinkhole" in the sand. I'm surprised that Mystery Science Theatre didn't add it to their collection of movies that they make fun of. Invaders from Mars - 1953 [link to www.youtube.com] Last Edited by KoFFee_ on 03/05/2013 10:50 AM However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace. Acts 20:24 "This man really is the Savior of the world!" John 4:42 Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen. I am the Alpha and the Omega, " says the Lord God, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty." Revelation 1:7 |
