This may have been helpful, you know, BEFORE Obama won the 2012 election in November.

But GOP preferred to spend their efforts & time in petty squabbles with each other through-out 2012.

So now Obama, Holder, Jarret, et al get to do what they want. They've EARNED that power; Democrats WANTED it way more than the Republicans did.

As for Ted Cruz... granted, he's smarter than your average Tea Partier -- which is not saying much because Tea Party idiocy cost the GOP both the Presidency and the Senate in last 2 elections....

But Ted Cruz looks like another dorky, uncool, untrustworthy Whitey - a.ka. The Man -- whom the American voters emphatically REJECTED in last few elections.

Single White Women, latinos, asians, blacks, young people, atheists all say "Your time is up, Whitey, now pay it back in spades, bitch!"

And I am not sure Ted Cruz, Chris Christie or Jeb Bush can argue their way out of this historic predicament.... Intelligent discourse only goes so far in a real power struggle.

Nobody cares. Obama's lies work because the voters WANT to be enchanted by lies and to escape into the "hopey changey" fantasy ----> they want a rockstar as POTUS, NOT their dad or their boss or their uncool math teacher as POTUS.

And since Obama Inc, almost never pay the (political) price for their lies & policy failures... there is NO INCENTIVE for them to stop or change their ways. None whatsoever. Duh.

And that's why America gets the leadership/President that it deserves, sadly.

I agree that there is SO MUCH that would have been better known before the election. The problem is it seems most of the electorate don't care and mud slinging and dirty politics work. The Dems are GOOD at playing the game. Their opposition sucks at it.

That's now excuse.

Republicans USED TO be masters at this game. Including when Karl Rove was in charge of Dubya both in 2000 and 2004. They just got lazy & happy & corrupt & uninspired. And Democracts, by constrast, made huge strides in both unity, strategy & tactics department (where Democrats used to be rather lacking in the past).

All this stuff was FORESEEABLE. Even to young amateurs like me, nevermind to grizzed professionals in the GOP. Including Benghazi. Including Fast & Furious. Including Obaama's many scandals & smoking guns.

But Republicans instead of uniting.... split into at least 4 distinct camps: tea party, ron paulniks, neoCons & pussy, err, I mean 'Moderate Establishment'.

And a badly divided party... just couldn't compete with Obama, Soros, Axelrod and Co. who also had the media in their pocket as well as huge resources on their side courtesy of Soros, Saudis, Qataris, Russians, Chinese, Hugo Chavez and so on.

And Romney STILL almost pulled it out in Florida and Virginia. Even with massive alleged Dem election fraud.

thing is the military/police are mostly republicans. and outside the military and police, republicans are the gun owners. democrats/liberals don't have any power. as they will find out soon enough.

I don't believe they are dying. The party is going through some growing pains, primarily to lessen the influence of the old guard and instituting more Constitutionalist and fiscal conservatives.
