So now Obama, Holder, Jarret, et al get to do what they want. They've EARNED that power; Democrats WANTED it way more than the Republicans did.

As for Ted Cruz... granted, he's smarter than your average Tea Partier -- which is not saying much because Tea Party idiocy cost the GOP both the Presidency and the Senate in last 2 elections....

But Ted Cruz looks like another dorky, uncool, untrustworthy Whitey - a.ka. The Man -- whom the American voters emphatically REJECTED in last few elections.

Single White Women, latinos, asians, blacks, young people, atheists all say "Your time is up, Whitey, now pay it back in spades, bitch!"

And I am not sure Ted Cruz, Chris Christie or Jeb Bush can argue their way out of this historic predicament.... Intelligent discourse only goes so far in a real power struggle.
