On the contrary, Obamacare is designed to complete the bankrupting of the country. All the while adding to the numbers of people who become dependent on the government. This dependency slowly but surely will cause people to vote for policies that futher increase the government largesse that is doled out to the masses. That increase is approaching (if not already past) a point of no return where the national debt load will be unrecoverable. Those in power aleady know this. The collapse became unavoidable at the inception of that horrible healthcare policy.

Why do you think the government has become increasingly militant since the passage of the act? Have you noticed the reports about weapon and ammunition purchases? How about the 2,700 MRAP's that were purchased by DHS? Do you think a Mine Resistant Armor Protected vehicle has a legitimate place in a law enforcement setting? Don't forget we now have drones that will be patrolling the skies.

The attorney general even said they can target Americans within the US border if they were classified as combatants.

“It has come to my attention that you have now asked an additional question: ‘Does the President have the authority to use a weaponized drone to kill an American not engaged in combat on American soil?’ The answer to that question is no,” Attorney General Eric Holder wrote."

And we are supposed to believe that the thinly veiled definition of combatant is what would stop the use of a drone on US citizens.

Unlawful combatant definition:
An unlawful combatant, illegal combatant or unprivileged combatant/belligerent is a civilian who directly engages in armed conflict in violation of the laws of war. An unlawful combatant may be detained or prosecuted under the domestic law of the detaining state for such action.[1]

As some of you are aware this definition has been used to target Americans abroad already. Regardless of the reassurance the power will not be used, the power should not be given.
