They are keeping interest rates at zero to entice people to move funds from their savings accounts into the stock market. This is because there is a stock market bubble that is going to pop (again). In 2001 the internet did not pop, it was tech stocks.

During last 5 months gold price is progressively going down.
Does anyone believes that there will still be opportunities to invest in gold?

Cause that bubble is getting ready to pop. If the aforementioned wasn't the case big timers like Warren Buffett wouldn't be dumping stock shares like crazy.

Ignore what anybody here says about the price of gold in dollars, that doesn't mean anything.

Instead compare gold to house prices, oil prices, land prices, food prices.

Money isnt money, money as in paper money is currency. Money cannot be printed.

Think of something you can hold in your hand that can buy a chicken, not much can do that but certain metals, those metals are real money!

Gold and silver wont drop significantly, if they did people will buy, there are too many conspiracy theorists with strong hands in this game now, the markets are not big enough.

If gold drops to 1000 it will sell out, you wont be able to buy it IMO. Same if silver drops to 20.

I'm no expert but from inflation adjusted figures it appears the DOW will have to breach 17-18k for the markets to be at the peak since the 2007/8 crash.

I think they will spike just above that, 20000-25000 maybe.

DOW is never a doom anyway. If it crashes nothing in reality will change (Any even nothing at Wall str will change - some will lose from the "crash" and some will benefit). And if it rises, nothing in the economy will improve

It's absurd to think that there are people out there that still believe that a rising DOW indicates economic strength and improvement.

If you take into account inflation this new nominal high would actually have to be 16000+ to be a real record high when adjusted for inflation.

Its probably wrong to consider it an investment, its a hedge.
