You know, this actually happened to me!

I met the entity known as Jesus in a dream, and wasn't acting very cooperative, to put it mildly. Then he forcefully made me drop to my knees and forced the words he wanted to hear out of my mouth!

Then we both had a great laugh about it, because while our god may still be a jealous god, he's at least learning to have a sense of humor about it. He's not at all as unforgiving as he was in Old Testament times.

We are growing and learning, and so is our god.

I suggest you both give him a bit more credit. Just because he was a pissant in Old Testament times doesn't mean he'll always be a pissant. In fact, he's a pretty cool god nowadays!
