Food Fraud Conceals Rising Food Prices

I've noticed my steak & cheese subs are lighter.

Potato chips are the biggest rip off - $4.00 plus per bag that is 1/3 full of chips and the rest air.

Anyone else got this beat?

OP, this has been going on for years! Haven't you gone grocery shoppping? First they redecorate the box, announcing that it's new and improved, and while the box is still as tall as it was, it's now slimmer, which equals 10 oz instead of 13oz.

Five pounds of sugar are pretty much displaced by the smaller four pound bag. As long as they don't sit next to a brand that still offers the five pound, a shopper who's just trying to get in, out, and home won't notice the difference.

It's definitely 'let the buyer beware'.

Cook everything from scratch and your issues are solved.

You do realize that in today's society, that's just not possible for most.

You're only being screwed because you allow it.

If you don't have the brains to check price AND weight (oz), then you're the foo!
