I totally get that narcissist thing - I was married to one, the father of my children. He loves nothing more than to talk about himself, to brag and make up stories and lies about himself, proudly proclaims himself to be a "hustler", loves nothing more than being the CENTER of attention - especially on a stage and put a mic in his hand or a guitar and he thinks he's the king, although he's actually just someone who has nothing other than what he gets by using others. He will admit most of this with pride and has no shame about anything he does, it's like he is totally lacking a conscience or sense of direction or decency sometimes, nothing there to rely on, don't even bother trying. The only way to get anything from him is to explain to him "what it will do for him", whether it be making him look good, boosting his ego or his image, etc. If that is in the cards, you might have a chance, otherwise, he's dust in the wind. He is always there to take, but not to give, there is very little output, just a lot of intake there. It's even more awful for his sons, who crave his attention, but, he doesn't give much of that, just likes to get it. I finally left him because if I didn't we'd have ended up homeless, because he just did not want to have to work or sacrifice one thing to take care of them, or me, especially when I came down with serious health problems, and my one son was born with autism. It's OK, though, because God has always been by my side and never let me down - he is who I can always rely on, no matter what, when, or why.

It's scary to think someone with any of those traits could be in charge of this country, hope it's not true.
