Sandy Hook: Photo of group running from school | |
| Fred-S User ID: 33015295 03/09/2013 05:33 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The question has been asked as to why the adults running from SHES with a little girl are shown later in other photographs, still crying or distressed, but without the child. Quoting: Zephyr 35770853 Here's the running photo: [link to media.pennlive.com] As far as I know, no parents made it inside the school at any point, so I think the two women are teachers/staff. Here's a picture of the child, presumably taken later after being reunited with her dad: [link to i3.kym-cdn.com] If one of the women is a parent, though, the later pictures of them in distress, but without this child, could indicate they were waiting for a second child. This girl looks more like a third or fourth grader to me. i think i identify him (the father) as Declan Procaccini |

| Fred-S User ID: 33015295 03/09/2013 06:05 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | He said his daughter was in a reading class with other children and two teachers when the shooting started. They locked themselves in a bathroom until police banged on the door and led them through the school -- and the bloody scene -- to safety. [35] "There's a little bathroom off the reading room, I think it's a single-person ... and the three of them just sat in there, quiet, 'cause he came into the room."[72] She had walked herself to her class early and was sitting there with two teachers when the three of them heard the sound of gunfire coming from outside.[72] Parent Lisa Procaccini of Sandy Hook said her 8-year-old daughter was in the building Friday morning and heard what she thought was banging.[73] The teacher brought the students into a bathroom, Procaccini said, and the children were brought outside. [73] Procaccini said her daughter saw a boy who had blood on his foot while being brought outside. She said the blood was from being cut by glass, not a gun shot. [73] According to Procaccini, her daughter’s teacher rushed her first-grade class into the bathroom and locked the door, telling the students that the noise they’d heard was hammering to keep them calm.[74] Her daughter, Leah, told her mom she had seen broken glass and one child covered in blood.[74] She did tell me about a little boy who was in a police officer’s arms who was bleeding.[74] Declan Procaccini, father of a third-grade student at Sandy Hook, told CNN's Wolf Blitzer his daughter was in a reading class on Friday when she and a teacher "heard bangs." The teacher locked his daughter and another teacher in a bathroom until police escorted them out through a messy scene.[76] |

The cars in the picture don't match up with the cars in the helicopter footage. I think the photo is either posed or faked and all those pictured think they are participating in a scripted drill - but none of them had their lines adequately memorized and were unaware of the final draft because it had not yet been written. Ambulances were trying to get down there, asking for permission to enter, and continually being turned away. But we're to believe that parents and older children were allowed to just stand right outside the school, when EMS could have been there instead, saving lives?? Cops wouldn't let EMS units on-scene, but photographers and civilians can just walk right on up to the school and hang out?? |
