Hey, Cowgirl! I hope y'all get the rain without the hail. Just a few areas got any rain here last night. We didn't get anything but wind and New Mexico, AGAIN!! At least, it wasn't a total brown-out day.

Good job snark! I don't think many folks are expecting a storm. Heck, I would not have paid any attention if my weather radio wasn't going off. The radio went off with a random test warning about noon. That's usually a good indication they plan to send a real warning later in the day.

Re: Texas-Oklahoma Severe Weather ...Heads Up!
Widespread low clouds and drizzle across Texas and Oklahoma are preventing thunderstorms from developing earlier in the day.

Therefore, it will take until some heating stirs up the atmosphere later this afternoon, causing storms to initially fire from near Oklahoma City, Okla., through Abilene, Texas.

Storms will then expand into this evening farther south and east, affecting residents from Tulsa, Okla., through Dallas, Waco, Austin and San Antonio, Texas.

Thunderstorms will remain severe through the late-evening hours before transitioning into more of a heavy rain event overnight over far southeastern Oklahoma and eastern Texas.
