You got your smoke and they didn't want you to. You win. No matter how you try and spin it, it's still a lost right for both smoker and bar owner. I'm not spinning anything, but for damn sure your media and politicians are. Have your smoke outside, enjoy it, and win. Always look at the positives. Be thankful that tobacco isn't illegal. As another poster already stated, you asked us what has been restricted, not what has been made illegal. I think your choice of the word "restricted" really highlights the issue more than a discussion of what has been made outright illegal ever could. TPTB may not tell us we can't do a particular thing, but instead they tell us when, where, how much, and how often. They make it so difficult and so expensive, that many folks throw their hands up in the air in frustration and cease the activity anyway. You get to "freely" quit whatever TPTB want you to quit doing, because they make it an ever increasing obstacle course of taxes, red tape, and harassment that keeps sapping more of your time, energy, and resources. They relentlessly twist your arm until you say "uncle" then give you an innocent look and declare that saying "uncle" was your choice. |
