A Slightly Different Angle on the "New" Korean War
So, North Korea is in a pretty bad state. Dirt Poor, starving, choking on Sanctions....what does a Commie-Values-Raised pudgy young leader to do about that? How does he "fix" the financial issues of his Country?

Simple. Like the Barbarians of Old, he just TAKES what he needs, and destroys what he doesn't.

Listed here, I have the 10 most tasty financial treats a little despot like Kimmie-UN would ever want to wrap his fat little fingers around an, oh, whats that word....oh ya, NATIONALIZE.

10. SK Hynix - Market Cap $16.4 Billion. SK Hynix, formally known as Hynix Semiconductor is the worlds second largest memory chip manufacturer

9. Shinhan Financial Group - Market Cap $18.2 Billion. Shinhan Financial Group is S.Korea's largest banking services firm, and the only financial company in the top-10.

8. Samsung Life Insurance - Market Cap $18.8 Billion. Samsung Life Insurance is the biggest company offering life insurance services, holding a 26% local market-share.

7. Hyundai Heavy Industries - Market Cap $19.8 Billion. Hyundai Heavy Industries is the worlds largest shipbuilding company.

6. LG Chem - Market Cap $20 Billion. LG Chem is S.Koreas largest chemical manufacturer, and one of the world leaders in automobile battery supply.

5. Hyundai Mobis - Market Cap $26.1 Billion. Based in Seoul, Hyundai Mobis, a subsidiary of the Hyundai Motor Group is the Country's leading maker of auto parts.

4. Kia Motors - Market Cap $29.2 Billion. Kia is S.Korea's second-largest automaker and is a subsidiary of the Hyundai Motor Group.

3. POSCO - Market Cap $32.6 Billion. POSCO is the world's fourth biggest steelmaker. This company is backed by billionaire investor Warren Buffett.

2. Hyundai Motor - Market Cap $49.8 Billion. Hyundai Motor is the world's fifth-biggest automaker, and the Top automaker in S.Korea.

1. Samsung Electronics - Market Cap $165.2 Billion. Samsung Electronics is the world's biggest technology firm by revenue and by far the largest-listed company in S.Korea. Founded in 1969 it is now the world's biggest manufacturer of memory chips, smartphones, televisions and other forms of personal/high tech for the home and office.

So, as you can see - for a Country that is in desperate need of a major economic injection there's lots of reasons ($$$$$) to lock, load, and roll-out.

Thoughts?

Do you honestly think much of anything requiring Samsung *parts* will be made if the North is successful?

Very few consumer-level gadgets are built without at least something from Samsung.

Apple-gear for example...
