Debunking the "Tilted Moon Filmed in Canada" Nonsense | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 36034940 United Kingdom 03/12/2013 01:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'd leave DR.Astro alone to dis others. There is still room to grow. Maybe just maybe when he realises that the face of the moon which never stops facing the earth is not rotating.. Quoting: Free Store 35943883 LOL. Great Point. The moon's being tidally locked to earth has nothing to do with field rotation. Field rotation is an apparent motion caused by the altitude-azimuth perspective of the observer and is independent of the motion of an object's true rotation. You can see that in this time lapse of Jupiter's rotation which was also filmed from an altitude-azimuth perspective (no Jupiter did not actually "tilt.") Jupitor tilted not long ago but hey the Moon can't. LOL Quoting: ACNo, it did not. See above. Field rotation applies to Jupiter as well. I have proven that the moon was supposed to look like that due to field rotation, and I have provided my calculations in the form of an excel sheet anyone can look at and examine for themselves. So go ahead, show where my calculations are wrong. Maybe we need a tard friendly field rotation example involving sitting on a reclined rotating office chair using the tards neck to simulate a polar telescope mounting. Something that makes it easy to understand for.. well for tards. You know the tardy tards in tardtown |

No judging by the tards lack of maths skills its infants/kindergarten school I do not have DA/DD's degree of patience. The reason being that bullshit has a lower energy barrier to diffusion in society that actual factual information. What I mean by that is that a scientist or scientifically inclined person ie DA/DD can spend ages explaining stuff to people who may or may not believe it. But a male bovine manure peddler can then proceed to convince more people to believe nonsense using less energy in less time, also the bs spreader is not constrained by any factual data which kind of gives them an unfair advantage. Many may not believe it but DA/DD is not a shill or sheep. Many people who frequent sites such as this are in fact just a different color sheep (bullshit coloured) compared to your average person. Except of course they lie to themselves that they are awakened or enlightened, and then proceed to behave like a pigeon playing chess. |

All this blathering on about field rotation does still not say anything to the obvious. Look at the video. Tilting...? But it is a smile and in all my years have been seeing this more and more just lately. Not years ago and not even a few years ago but just lately. I don't care to take the advice being offered. I don't are about his calculations and book deals. The video clearly shows somthing strange. Otherwise if this was perfectly normal why was a video taken. Obviously others thought it was strange too. Dazzle the young cause they don't know any better but those that have been on this planet longer KNOW somthing is up and wrong. Interesting point. The moon appears to be "sideways". Perhaps it is tilting. Perhaps it is not. In any case, I am not sure that either side has "proved" their case here. The ancient scientists believed that the Sun revolved around the Earth. They were correct, given their observations, which were severely limited and which were later revised. |

For me, this site is about new news information so that thread was right up my ally. Its hard to understand why you do these kinds of threads, or the ones where you post under someone else's title. Maybe the title you have chosen is an indication of why? Referencing somebody's idea as nonsense, or using their title and then bashing their theory pretty much guarantees a confrontation. I really enjoy your original threads, but we have all read the disclaimer, and know we should not take everything here at face value. |

The ancient observatory may be over 1000 years old. I asked Martin directly about these things a month or so ago and he assures me that the locations of the sun and the moon are exactly where they are expected to be, and that he knows this from direct methodical observation. here's a few images from his book so you sort of get the idea of how he does it- [link to i1065.photobucket.com] [link to i1065.photobucket.com] [link to i1065.photobucket.com] |
