People in front of a camera most of the times are hand picked based not in talent but on looks.

Because they dont take care of themselves at all. A large reason why is because the majority are poor and are in poverty. If you look at pictures of people during the great depression and pictures of people now, you'll see its almost identical.

The photos of people in the 50's, 60's, and early 70's where a lot more attractive than during down times.
