Dace User ID: 979327 Puerto Rico 03/11/2013 02:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Windows sucks.... I used to love windows...until after getting malware, the good ol' Nimda virus way back in the day, trojans, worms...no matter what virus/malware/firewall software....windows always seemed to get infected and I ended up having to completely reformat and reinstall about 15 times in 8 years. (no...I'm not a 'safe' internet surfer...and no, not because of porn..lol) 5 years ago, I switched to Linux/Ubuntu...and since then, no infections except ONE java/firefox problem. In Ubuntu...the desktop is similar to mac....all the programs are 'clones' of either windows/mac. Your system files are NOT able to be altered without you, yourself going through passwords and command lines. if you want to rip a movie or cd...no prob...no copyright protection for you to *ahem* back up your files. There IS a learning curve, of course...like switching from pc to mac....but once you've learned it, you'll never go back and you'll want to take a big ol' dump on all windows and apple machines. linux also has 'shells'....so if you want your desktop to look JUST like apple...no prob.... anyways, I know I went on a rant there, but my point is....windows sucks ass. |

Is that true? I don't think unless it is law enforcement that your IP address is much good to a fake buyer/seller. |

Quoting: The Loophole Act like an idiot and make them walk you through how to turn on the computer. That could kill half an hour. I had the same thing happen a couple of weeks ago. When I told my friends about it one person said he wished they would call him. He would lead them on for over an hour saying he could not understand their accent or ask stupid questions which would take some time to be answered, etc. Finally after about an hour he would tell them their instructions and workings they wanted him to do just didn't work right on his MAC!!! Wished I had thought of that. |
