Why would you want prescription drugs anyways? Their are so many natural remedies, herbs and what not that will help you out with no side effects. Also you wouldn't be funding the damned drug companies as well. I remember once I was in a car accident, and I didn't have insurance, they took me to a county hospital where I signed this waver saying that I'm basically a poor slob who can't afford insurance, so they gave be basic healthcare and I got all my meds for free. So look into that if you must have your drugs.

Here in the states one can just call around and get the best price. Not many do though.

Most pharmacies have generics that sell anywhere from $4-6 per Rx.

Ask your doctor when he prescribes or talk to the pharmacist when you get your Rx filled.

Google the company that makes/sells them,some have programs for free meds(i kid not)

My local electric co(co-opt)gave all their customers a great discount script card that saves me about 30% off.

Go to this site, print the free discount card, and take to your pharmacy. You can also look up the pharmacies that take the card, and your particular medication and discounted prices on the site.
There are numerous free cards online in addition to this one, but I know this one has been around for a long time.
I don't have insurance, and discount RX card saves me over $200 on my blood pressure RX for a 90 day supply at Walgreens. That's some serious savings, but your discount will depend upon the drug you need.

years ago I went in for a upper respiratory infection and the doc writes a prescription. I ask what that will cost and he says about $100. I said what about amoxicillian. He said the newer drug has a 90% cure rate and amox, 80%. I said write it for amox. which cost maybe $10 and it worked. So always ask for alternatives.

Almost every pharmacy does the $4 generic thing.Most drugs are on the list.

This is a network of docs that created this insurance so regular folks with out insurance can get group discounts. It has a prescription component as well. Hope this helps.
