Ghost cat sleeping with me
I feel, what feels like my cat, jumping onto the bed, walking and then lying down...last night (third time) the cat jumped onto the bed, walked around on my left, laid down, then got up, walked over my legs and laid down on my right...I,actually, have a cat and thought it was Walter...he's not allowed in my room, but sometimes gets in...in the morning, I looked for him...not there...he was outside...this is the third time this has happened...Now I'm getting a little jumpy over this...as a backdrop...I had a cat that was aloof, she wasn't looking very good, one day she came in, sat next to me and put her head in my lap...that was the last time that I saw her...anyone had any experiences like this? Answers? Advice?

Re: Ghost cat sleeping with me
I've had several experiences where I've lost a cat and they came to say their goodbye or didn't leave me until I was safe back home from having to put them to sleep.

I wouldn't worry about this, it's probably your previous little love visiting you and telling you everything is OK for them and that they are waiting for you over the bridge.

Consider it a gift, not something to fear.

Re: Ghost cat sleeping with me
I have this happen almost nightly. I do have a cat but he's usually already on the bed sleeping on my pillow. The kitty typical **boop boop** on the bed, the walk around at the bottom of the bed then nothing. My cat Deacon pops his head up but shortly goes back to sleep.
Haven't lived here long, never lost a kitty yet.

thank you..my ex says that I was dreaming..I do have some very real dreams..but the first thud woke me up...kinda..oh crap, the cat is in the room...and then I thought, maybe he's right..but three times? It doesn't feel malevalent..sp? in any way, but told some people at work and they spooked me with how what seems innocent, at first, can turn to something very evil...quickly...

Re: Ghost cat sleeping with me
I posted this very same experience and got accused of witchcraft by some dumb ass on here- LOL!

It could have come from the ouija board one of my kids snuck into the house. I came across it one day while cleaning out my fricken closet and got rid of it post-haste.

My two live cats spent their nights outside so I had two of whatever the hell they were jumping up on my bed, walking around looking for a place to lay down. I slept with my lights on for a long time and for whatever reason, maybe getting rid of the ouija board, they just went away on their own. I havent had a problem in the last two homes Ive lived in since.

Yes I've had this happen as well.

Both myself and my wife lost a cat due to cancer about 4 years ago now that we were very attached to and right after he passed both myself and my wife saw him.

He came back to say goodbye and to let us know he was fine.

So no you are not alone. As another has said consider it a gift that your cat loved you enough to come back and say farewell.

Re: Ghost cat sleeping with me
when i was a teen and still lived with my parents, our family included Sam, a gray cat with long fur.
Sam would ask to be let outside, when he got bored and wanted back inside, he would sit on a ledge by the kitchen window until someone let him in.
Sam was shot by a hunter, but managed to drag himself home, where he died in my arms.
for years after he passed on, i would see a flash of gray in the kitchen window, cross the room and put my hand on the doorknob, before i remembered.

i mentioned this to my parents recently, and they both had the same experience.

Re: Ghost cat sleeping with me
This happens to me all the time.

I sense the presence of 2 of my favorite long gone cats in my bed with me quite often.

They walk across the bed just like they always did and then cuddle up next me.

This does not bother me at all.

I find it kinda nice that my cats that I loved so much loved me enough to come from the other side and hang out with me every now and then.

Comforting in a way, I guess.

Hey Mr. AC3937774,

Just because you can't see it does not mean it's not real.

Can you see the air unless it's filled with smoke or particulates?

There are things out there you cannot see, feel or taste that are just as real as you are.

Try being a bit more open minded, willya?

I looked up sensory hallucinations and what I find is mostly related to meth use, bugs crawling on or under skin, electric feelings, etc...my daughter and a friend is a doctor. I will inquire with them...thanks for the info..would have never guessed this

Yes, because you're mentally ill you're telling someone to ignore potentially serious symptoms that could be something that kills him in a year or two if nothing is done now.

But of course, you know, those ghost cats are serious problems. Everyone knows someone who's died of ghost cats. And tie a ribbon in support ghost cat research for survivors.

My daughter & I have been seeing a little black dog around the inside of our house lately.

We've never had a pure black dog & neither did the previous owners. We'll see it, it would go around the corner where the stairs to the upstairs are & disappear.

You're a fucking retard. It's pretty much been proven that there's like 7 dimensions we cannot physically experience or see. Can you see radio waves dipshit? No.

Just like you (usually) can't see spirits, souls, shadows. But kids and nighttime are the exceptions.

Do you think out of the 500 haunted places in Canada alone, they're all stories?

Give me a break, go to a place with lots of tragedy at night and you will experience something. You sound like you're butthurt because you live in an average house in an average town where nothing happens because it has no fucking history.

I too have had what you would classify as a 'sensory hallucination' only mine happened I would guess about 25 or 30 years ago. I didn't see a doctor for it, and as far as I can tell, I'm still alive and well. Doctors only deal in the physical. There is a spiritual realm out there. Perhaps someday you'll experience something similar and then you'll understand what these people are talking about.
