I work in a restaurant. I've got to be honest, most of the illnesses traced back to restaurants can be directly linked to the guests. Most people have no idea how to properly wash their hands after using the lavatory. They relieve themselves, run their hands under cold water for maybe 10 seconds, dry their hands, throw away the paper towel and grab the door handle to exit, contaminating the handles. Then they go handle the menus, other door handles, everything. Nevermind the large percentage that don't even bother to go through the motions. Kids, on their own, don't ever wash their hands.
Keep that in mind next time you get sick after eating out. It's why I don't anymore.
