This town in Quebec is way way east on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River, hours away from Quebec City, and then three more hours away from Montreal. They are all French-speaking.

The kids out in that part of Quebec are wonderful, bright, talented, and -- get this -- there are no Blacks, Asians, Jews, or Hispanics.

Of course, the schools don't let them know the reason they are happy and optimistic is because their communities are relatively remote, and all the racist garbage is simply not a factor.

If the youngsters only knew the score. They don't realize how lucky they are.

There are drugs everywhere, of course. But most of these kids are too smart for that.

The only real problem out their way is lack of jobs, because the Quebec provincial government is crippled by the nerds who run the Canadian government out of Ottawa.

There are all kinds of creative ideas and industries that need financing in Quebec. They actually look to the future there.

No french??? that's crazy. Almost all Quebec speak French.

We won't get good wages for hard workers if we accept the cheap labor tactic from big players like mc do.

According to the audio link I post earlier, those nice people seem to be from Filipino on a 2 years contract. They are beginning to learn french.

They are probably very nice people,(wonderfull "draft" (good word??) from mc do) but this is the way to built racism.

They find better wages I beleive, the audio link talk about a lack of cheap labor.

They are probably happy to dance compared to what they would have to do to make back at home what they earn in Quebec.

If they wish to stay, integration will be easier there. They won 't be able to ghettorise themself in the far far far north.

And they will be accept in the community.

Lol it's simply :

-Minimum wage in Quebec is $9.90 cad an hour. It's actually going up to $10.15 an hour on May 1. You can live pretty good here especially where you're a student with that money.

-There is a shit load of chronic here. Really good chronic. High schoolers easily score Ak-47, White Widow, Jack herer over here ($10 a gram)

-McDonalds is apparently really good on your CV. If you've managed to stay 6month or 1year at McDonalds you easily get hired at on retail places.

-Tuition is the cheapest in North america in quebec. the government covers 80% of university tuition. A full course load with books is about $2500-$3000. That's about $15 000 for your bachelors. Lots lots of students here and educated people.

They got dancing going on...and balloons...and that is the happiest McDonald's I've ever seen. Very cool....
