Hundreds of thousands of years on the earth to multiply and all we got now is a couple of truck loads of fossels and a whole bunch of conjecture. Hell we sould be tripping over dead dinosaur remains.

Hell the prediluvian atmosphere accounts for a lot, maybe the dinos are still with us but a lot smaller now because the air is so thin so they don't grow so big just like we don't live so long.
