Phoenix Cop Made Famous On YouTube For Tackling 15-Yr-Old Girl Calls 5-Day Suspension Too Harsh

SNIP

PHOENIX -

A Phoenix Police officer has been suspended after tackling a 15-year-old girl. The video, posted on YouTube, made national headlines two years ago.

Monday, that officer appealed, saying his punishment is too harsh, fighting the 5-day suspension at a hearing.

That hearing is closed to the public at his request, so we won't get to hear why he believes his punishment was too harsh.

If police would at least attempt to handle situations w/out violience or brute force i would give them the benefit of the dought, but their "official policy" is to be thugs and treat citizens like evil terrorists.

Look...it's good he gets exposed. But the real money shot is her lawsuit and the bottom feeder lawyer who will get her a hundred grand for this. Which he easily will. Case closed. The officer will be on everyone's radar now, if he keeps his job he will be walking on eggshells. lol

The taxpayers are the true employers of all these public officials their personal records and hearings should be open to the public.

Withholding any information from the public is hiding their misdeeds and crimes. It seems most public officials fear accountability.
