..People unfortunately misinterpret alot.
2012-21 was the begining date of the period of the fall of the remaining influence of the last age..for 7yrs to a decade or even more, this will happen.this yr and the next years will be very intense, to say the least..and "the influence" will end with the collapse ofthe "modern" world, the Earth changes..
St. Malachy didn't say anything about a "black pope".
But again, what he did say was misinterpreted:

In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit [i.e., as bishop].
Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [i.e. Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge will judge his people. The End
as a matter of fact, he doesnt say that the last pope will be the "anti-christ or beast" it says that during his reign, he will guide his flock thru many tribulations, and AFTERwards comes the terrible judge..AFTerwards "when these things are finished"..
Peter the roman is also a metaphor, the first is the last..
