Wasn't there a francis in the jesuits that was an exorcist. Who was part inspiration for the novel "The Exorcist". Written I believe by someone at Georgetown UNV. Which is a jesuit college.

St. Francis of Assisi also had a father named Pietro

St. Francis of Assisi
Francis of Assisi was one of seven children born to Pietro di Bernardone, a rich cloth merchant, and his wife Pica, about whom little is known except that she was originally from Provence, France.[10] Pietro was in France on business when Francis was born, and Pica had him baptised as Giovanni di Bernardone.

Re: Pope Francis middle name means Peter
He fits the description of the last pope. He is of Italian ancestry. He may have been born in Argentina, but his parents are both Italian. "Roman" may not neccessarily be a place of birth, but could be a philosophy, a way of thinking or a life structure. When it comes to being a traditional thinking Catholic cleric, he is very "Roman" indeed. Who better to fit the description of the last pope that will lead his flock through the tribulation, than one who truly deserves the shepards hook, a traditionalist.
As for the name, Peter, a pope can be referenced as "Peter", such as the first pope who WAS Peter.
In this case, the new pope took the name "Francis", which is directly a reference to Saint Francis of Assisi. Who's baptisimal name in english would translate to "Peter". Saint Francis of Assisi was very humble, as the new pope appears to be.
Time will tell if the prophesy has been fulfilled.

Although both Francis of Assisi and Francis Xavier could have inspired the new pope in selecting his name for posterity, it was more likely the Italian friar who was the main inspiration, said Monsignor Raymond J. Kupke, a professor of church history at Seton Hall University in New Jersey.

"He was a man of great simplicity, down to earth, a man of the people," Kupke said. "Also Francis of Assisi spearheaded a great evangelization movement of the 13th century. He embraced a new way of being religious in the world."
 Quoting: waterman

Well, if you wanted to know which direction the new pope is going to take the church, there it is in bold, all spelled out for us.

Get ready for a brand new "Catholicism Wow!" campaign.

For what it is worth. The "new" Pope has been elected.....

Here is some background:

Black Pope (inference) ~
[link to en.wikipedia.org]

St. Francis of Assisi ~ (middle name is fundamentally "Peter")
[link to www.britannica.com]

Current Pope "Francis" ~ (who honors St. Francis with his new title)

I suppose the question remains whether the fat lady has finally found the mic and is about ready to sing....?

Yes,
Some are believing this to be the case. For sure, we are that much closer to complete implosion world-wide regardless. This may just add fuel to the fire regarding the Papal prophecies and the Book of Revelation.

"Black Pope" may be code for the theatrical term "fade to black" which would mean for us a close of our current scene. This pope is simply to close-out our present account so we can begin the Golden Age. It's not doom, it's simply the end of a scene.
