It's not what you think it is. The coalition are actively pursing measures for rising nations that are started to purse and become nuclear.

Russia is probably the only place right now that is closest to perfecting the technology to disable the heavily shielded ones mid-flight.

We can probably stop a North Korean nuke - by just launching a rocket with an EMP on it - I think it's called nuclear flux - but a higher tech rocket has shielding and you can't disable them.

The coalition is sharing tech only in that specific field.

It might actually be a BAD thing to not have their data. Because if we don't share -- they don't share..way it works.

Really?

Ah jeez.

Hypothetical Q: "But we're a GLOBAL society. We're all one people, why not give Russia detailed information about the technology we'd use to save ourselves if Russia decided to launch ICBMs?"

Hypothetical A: Because then they can counter it fuckwad. Why oh why would you share THAT tech of all things? This president, I'm tellin' ya.

Has he set up information exchanges or "shared" some of this information with Russia before? I hadn't heard anything about this until now.

The bill was introduced by Representative Mo Brooks (R-Ala.), a member of the House Armed Services Committee. Brooks and other Republicans are suspicious the Obama administration might be considering executive action to reach a compromise with Moscow on missile defense efforts in Europe in order to pave the way for a new round of bilateral nuclear arms control talks.

That's exactly what they are doing. "Republicans are suspicious" - lol

They ARE doing that..it's right there on the DOD - they ARE working bilaterally to stop nuclear weapons mid-flight.

It's not absolutely a BAD thing...I'm not saying it's great either..I'm not there..I don't know the people in the Russian military. I've never had hours and hours of time clocked in meetings with them.

But, some of our people have - SOME of them think it's a good idea to work with them.

Why? Because THEY HAVE SUPERIOR technology in this specific field.

So they claim.

If I was president --i might be considering doing the exact same thing.
