BTW, I find it really funny that people who have been enjoying the huge debt ridden monetary boom of the past 10-30 years are now suddenly complaining when there's a hint of possibility that they might have to give 10% back. Irony, oh irony.

For example, the consumers in UK are levered to the hilt.

They should (on the average, not every single individual) lose 50% and it would be just.

Debt is not wealth and much of the savings earned through a debt bubble appears to be pretty ephemeral too.
