if the banks stay closed,
people will probably burn them down
if they can't get their money out.

it is all just promoting more fear! everybody will run to withdraw their money it's gonna cause the collapse either way

I'd go so far as to say bank runs across Europe are inevitable at this point.

No way I'd leave my Euros in the bank at the risk of any 'haircut' - even the lesser rate (what is it, like 6.5% if < 100k Euro?) I'd be damned if the pricks stole my money!

US dollar may be seen as 'safe'(er), but I think it'd be short term only... coming here soon enough...
