Ie 9 Tools --> Safety --> Tracking Protection --> Settings --> block block block etc [ link to winsupersite.com] You'll see the 'like' button removed from sites (such as GLP) and most others that have social sharing. At the end of the day, the spooks at home and abroad have access to all data anyway, but I guess this gives them plausible deniability. If only Tor wasn't so bloody slow.
