The poor would just piss away the money and be poor again a week later. It's why they're poor in the first place.

Being "poor" has nothing to do with money. Being poor means you can't get off your ass and do something for yourself. There's no excuse except for the children born to poor minded eaters.

No matter how "poor" you are, you can always walk away. You can always plant some food somewhere. You can always TRY! But those who simply give up have a poor mind and the earth doesn't need them and neither does humanity.

No
he would be doing what Romans
stated Christ did in their
false books.

Give unto Caesar what is Caesars.

after the Roman State merged with
the Roman Church, then we have
Jesus come along and tell them
to give to Rome and give to God.

There are power struggles in the Vatican. I know from a person working in the Vatican. She is actually quite high up.

The zionist banksters have a strong grip over the finances, a fact that upsets quite a few.

Some popes have had a sincere desire to make things better, to deal with the corruption, but the evil forces are strong.

Francis background and "aura" actually makes me a bit hopeful!

the ONLY thing you know about Christ
is what has been propagated by the
Roman Elite and their successors.

when in actuality, the Bible is NOT
historical, it is a Roman Psy-Op
to create slaves to Rome.

I am not saying the man did not exist,
I AM saying what is written about him
in the Roman books is false and
distributed for an agenda. The man
was molded into what Rome wanted
him to be.

In actuality, the icon you know as
Jesus was actually the last Egyptian
Pharaoh Ptolemy King named Caesarion.

Once you see past the illusions they
have created, then you can be free
of their slavery. As long as you keep
your false Roman belief system, you
will always be their slave.

title says it already;

what if the new pope is a "good guy", not only pretending to like the poor lifestyle but being honest on that;
and wants to spend all the money and wealth the church has (including the vatican bank) to really make a difference and help the poor ?

i suppose he won´t live very long ..?

Don't know why you single out just this pope.

I do from time to time donate to charitable organizations and I was really impressed by the statistics on one such charity run by the Catholic Church - Catholic Relief Services.

[link to www.bbb.org]

Programs: 95% Fund Raising: 3% Administrative: 2%

In order to meet the standards an organization has to spend at least 65% of its total expenses on program activities (95% for this particular organization) and spend no more than 35% of related contributions on fund raising (3% for this particular organization).

I think you'd be hard pressed to find another charitable organization that spends as high a percentage of their collected donations on the programs they sponsor, and those programs include projects designed to help communities in countries throughout Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America identify long-term solutions to poverty and build self-sufficiency and humanitarian assistance operations in response to natural and man-made disasters, supplying aid in the form of food, medicines, shelter, and other relief supplies.

So I'd say the Catholic Church has gone above and beyond many other organizations in their efforts to alleviate the suffering that people in this world have to endure.

It doesn't sound to me like they're trying to prey on people in an attempt to get rich like some other 'fake' charitable organizations out there. Sounds to me like they're not only talking the talk but also walking the walk as would be expected of an organization representing God and His Christ here on this earth. But then again, Satan will do whatever he can to discredit those doing God's will.

i am absolutely no bibletard, don´t like relgious stuff at all, not naive and dreaming of unicorns and well aware that he is a jesuit.

but maybe, just maybe, there is a slight chance he´s "the good guy" (of course, as long as someone who is a church´s man can be any good) and wants to make a change.

Then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words. 16 They sent their disciples to him along with the Herodians. “Teacher,” they said, “we know that you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You aren’t swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are. 17 Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay the imperial tax[a] to Caesar or not?”

18 But Jesus, knowing their evil intent, said, “You hypocrites, why are you trying to trap me? 19 Show me the coin used for paying the tax.” They brought him a denarius, 20 and he asked them, “Whose image is this? And whose inscription?”

21 “Caesar’s,” they replied.

Then he said to them, “So give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.”

22 When they heard this, they were amazed. So they left him and went away.

Gospel of Matthew was not written by Matthew
the apostle.

Matthew was written in Greek.
Matthew did not speak or write Greek.
ALL of the Apostles were illiterate

Greek was a Roman Aristocrat attribute

Gospel of Matthew was written by

OP, if he were, then he would totally be the ANTI-POPE :D

Every other pope have been running the well-known and well-documented Vatican-Mafica money-laundering connection for decades now.

The last Vatican banker who tried to clear that found himself hanged from the Blackfriars Bridge with bricks in his pocket (i.e. 'don't steal from us').

So yeah, if a pope wanted to give the money to the poor, he certainly would be the anti-pope and the first one at that in the whole history of the catholic church :)
