This video screams ignorance on so many levels...the guy narrating is a moron that has no idea what he is talking about. First of all that is NOT video feed from a UAV, it is from a BETS-CC system. Secondly, how does he know the operator didn't report it, instead of just sitting there and "watching them die"? Thirdly, there are lots of ieds planted here every day, I have watched these people plant dozens in one stretch of road overnight, there is no way we can keep up with and disarm every one we know about, that's just the sad fact of this place. The camera operators are not in direct contact with troops on the ground, it is usually several steps of separation to get a message out to them, going through many different forms of communication, messages get lost, people give wrong coordinates, mistakes happen. I can assure you no one I have ever worked with would just sit there after watching an ied plant and let our boys die, I find that idea quite offensive. I am in Afghanistan now, and have been here and Iraq many times as a UAV operator. Don't believe every over imaginative teenagers vide they put up on YouTube, and do some critical thinking.

I think the only people who actually would watch live drone footage of your military in danger and do nothing are sitting in the W.H - as they did in Bengazi!

Well come on, guys, really some critical thinking is important here. We should never just blindly accept anything. Now, it's true, we have to ask ourselves, are we sure that this wasn't reported? Also, are all of these drones controlled by people or are these drones sometimes automatically focusing on people, etc?

The video appears to be quite shocking, but upon some critical thinking, I do think it's possible there is more to the story and you can't instantly go "They murdered them on purpose." From this video alone. I'm not sure, it's a very tricky issue, so I see the points made from the contractors as valid ones.

I wish we could get some answers.

I'm pretty sure this isn't drone footage, unless it's a VTOL drone. It's obviously taken from a stationary vantage point.
