What is the difference between Luciferianism and Satanism?

Luciferianism is mythological while Satanism is actually atheism.

luciferianism is the exact same thing as satanism. except from the satanist's point of view, they worship Satan in his present form, while Luciferians worship Satan in his prior form. They think that Lucifer is still as he was, and will become God one day.

I guess one of the things that I'm not understanding is all of the blood, guts, terror, fear, and human and animal sacrifices that are involved.

There's a lot of people here that are saying "Lucifer is good... blah blah blah" and he's the light etc., but how can he be good if there's so much bad done in tribute?

The names, that's the only difference. But they mean the same thing. Luciferianism and satanism are the same. They try and cloak Luciferianism in a guise of respectability, but the practices are the same once they make you aware of what they keep hidden.

the process church is a branch off from scientology. they believe that satan and Jesus will reconcile and rule the future earth together. it gets as goofy as L. Ron's stuff. they believe in channelling they also believe that there is a Godhead that consists of Lucifer, Christ, Satan, and Jehovah. . makes no sense.

From a psychological perspective, it would seem to me that 'satanists' have a fixation with negative energy or at least identifying with negative energy.

An atheist simply does not believe in a personified deity or 'God', and perhaps not even in an 'afterlife' existence, but there is no requirement if you are an atheist that you need to identify with negative energy or that you must lack a sense of morality.

The truth is there is no grand book of gothic satanism, no unholy scriptures or any other writings that support the concept of the adversary.
The Satanic bible exploited peoples fascination with the occult to further the rationale of atheism.

I should add from a Christian viewpoint this should make perfect sense as many Christians believe the biggest trick the devil pulled was convincing people he didn't exist.
