To know means to know all. Not to know all means not to know. In order to know all, it is only necessary to know a little. But, in order to know this little, it is first necessary to know pretty much.

Just the beginning.

People know that they can't trust banks anymore. As one wise woman has said, if you can't stand over it with a gun, you don't own it.

Out of fear of the truth, people are going to be forced to liquidate all their paper assets and bank accounts.

They have pulled the trigger on the next stage of the collapse of Western Civilization. The next week is going to be interesting.

ahhh

Re: Asian Markets getting Hammered in early trading
I don't think this is the proverbial straw that'll break the camel's back. I think it's that one piece of straw before that one. They'll try to back off on the "one time levy" but the geanie is already out of the bottle. Confidence is lost now. My guess is that within a couple of weeks Cyprus will be gutted of every commercial account they have. Then they'll completely topple. That'll be the beginning of the end for the euro.

I'm wondering how this'll play out on this side of the pond. I know the Fed has a lot of money tied up in European banks, though if I recall they had tried to limit their exposure somewhat. Will US consumers panic that their money is next? I'm not sure how this'll play out.

Agreed thats why the next 72 hours should be fascinating... it all depends on how lost and gone the sheep are.. I do think this is a big Domino to fall...

no organic growth in western economies... they have to use these gimmicks to keep the boat afloat. its not about fixing the boat.. its simply about trying to keep enough water off it to just keep the system propped up
