Does anybody else think the Illuminati is a benevolent organization?

I don't know too many benevolent people who slink around in the shadows and the dark alleys. You don't hide a candle under a basket so to speak. You put it in a candlestick and let it shine.

The mafia holds secret meetings and claims they don't exist. Only criminals with something to hide, hide in the dark corners.

How would you know they are benevolent anyway? Everything they do is a closely guarded secret. Probably secret for a reason.

the illuminati is real, and they have a goal - to unite humanity in understanding, peace and love. i imagine a beautiful society..

I think they do bad things to show us the Evil in the word so that we can rise up against it.
