United States 03/17/2013 10:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I think I see what will make people into "the flesh eating zombies"...it was in the news... Ok...so I saw in the news that somebody had died of rabies...OK, kind of rare these days...but, not impossible. Then, I went and looked at the article and that is when it got real interesting... so, apparently, the person who died...was an organ recipient...and got the rabies...from the organ donor...so, who was this organ donor...why he was a 20 year old US Air Force recruit... Add to this that one source said the recruit had no signs of rabies...the other source said he did have signs of rabies. The organ donor who died from rabies...came down with rabies 18 months after the transplant! Now, I checked wikipedia...and wikipedia says the usual incubation period for rabies...is a few months...a few months doesn't sound like 18 months to me! How is it that the Air Force guy had rabies...and nobody knew...and then 18 months after the Air Force guy dies...an organ donor dies....what kind of rabies is this? Here are the sources...
